We are currently closed until further notice

In light of government advice on avoiding travel and social activities, we have taken the decision to close the campsite until it is safe to re-open. Although this makes us sad, your and our health is more important at this point.
We hope you all stay safe and healthy.

Bookings will continue to be taken for dates in May and beyond. If you wish to keep up to date with new information, then please follow us on social media.

About Platt's Farm

Campsite

Platt's Farm Campsite is a small, family run campsite for tents set in the grounds of a Grade II listed Victorian farm. We have provided a peaceful little haven yet with the convenience of local shops and pubs. Our lovely beach is just a gentle stroll away.

Bunkhouse

Our cosy little bunkhouse is a perfect place to stay for outdoor enthusiasts and those wishing to take a step up from camping. Sleeping 10 people, the bunkhouse has all you need for a warm comfortable stay. See the Bunkhouse page for further details.

Getting Here

By Car

Llanfairfechan is 7 miles west of Conwy on A55 By car Leave A55 westbound Llanfairfechan Exit 15, follow 30mph road though to traffic lights. Cross traffic lights and immediately signal right. The entrance to Platt's Farm is a sharp turn on the right just after the bus stop on the right and just before the bus stop on the left. Leave A55 eastbound Llanfairfechan Exit 14, just under a bridge and not well signposted. Follow the road over the A55 then turn left on to Aber Road and as you enter Llanfairfechan the entrance to Platt’s Farm is on the left just before the traffic lights. Please note that the Farm Lodge by the entrance is nothing to do with Platt's Farm Campsite.

By train

Exit Llanfairfechan station and walk up Station Road to the traffic lights. Turn right and walk past the bus stop and the entrance to Platt’s Farm is on your right. Walk down the track to the farm yard and follow the signs to Reception.

By bus

From Llandudno or Bangor there is a bus stop (Bont Newydd) right by the entrance to Platt’s Farm. Walk down the track to the farm yard and follow the signs to Reception.

Bunkhouse Offer

We currently have good availability in the Bunkhouse in December. The Bunkhouse is a great alternative to camping in the Winter season.

December dates also available for Christmas and New Year.

Please contact us for exclusive use bunkhouse offers and to book any dates.

Campsite Availability

We are pleased to be open for a new season of camping from 1st March 2019 through to 31st October 2019!

The bunkhouse is open all year.

Brilliant bunkhouse

"Just got back from spending an amazing weekend at Platt's Farm bunkhouse. Really peaceful spot in lovely old farm buildings. You wouldn't know you're near a hospital at all, feels like you're tucked away in some leafy retreat. Owners really friendly and helpful. The bunkhouse was great, basic but had everything you needed and far nicer than a lot of bunkhouses I've stayed in! I'll definitely be back when I can. Cheers again"

Enjoyable stay

"Stayed here camping with a few friends over 3 days, friendly couple run the site, it was clean and tidy and they helped make a good stay for our group. site was quiet, loved the stream down the edge of the site. chickens ensured fresh eggs and antics to amuse. loved the site would go back. Locals friendly and colourful, good meals just a short walk away beer good at any of the locals but best at the llanfair arms."
