Llanfairfechan Town
Llanfairfechan Town is a small Victorian seaside town situated on the North Wales coast. It has a lovely beach and promenade leading to a bird reserve where you can see the largest known population of Great Crested Grebe, along with Lapwing and Oyster Catchers to name a few. There are many facilities for children including 2 playgrounds, tennis courts and paddling pool. In the village itself, you can take a walk around the historic 'Close' and marvel at the 25 Arts and Crafts houses designed by Herbert Luck North in the late 1800's. At the upper end of the village, there is a lovely walk through Nant Y Coed leading up into Snowdonia National Park where you can walk along to the druids circles above Penmaenmawr and see the wild ponies along the way.
